Obituary for Billie Brim

Billie Brim
Mrs. Billie Brim, 73, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 in Waco.
Billie Carroll Brim was the sixth of 12 children born to Jack and Grace Guyton Carroll on August 7, 1945. At Fairfield High School she was a class favorite and a basketball queen. She married Jerry Brim in 1964, and they followed his coaching career across all corners of Texas. She was proud to be Coach Brim’s wife, and together they were the parents of two daughters, Rachel and Amanda.
She worked many years in the refineries in and around Baytown, and eventually retired from Brown & Root after many years with the company.
Billie was known for her lightning-quick sense of humor, but even more for her loving heart and generosity to those she loved.
She was a wife, a mother, a sister and a good friend. Perhaps the role that made her happiest was being Grandmama to her four grandchildren, Kaylee, Ian, Luke and Carter.
Billie will be greatly missed by her friends and family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband on October 8, 2018, one brother and three sisters
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Rachel Trotter and husband Chris of Tomball, TX; Amanda Brim of Lewisville, TX; brothers, Milton Carroll and wife Amanda of Fairfield; Johnny Carroll and wife Geneva of Fairfield; Jack Carroll and wife Kim of Fairfield; sisters, Carolyn Nanny of Teague; Kathy Whatley and husband Phil of Fairfield; Sheila Carroll; Sara Owens and husband B.D. Owens of Van, TX; grandchildren, Kaylee Trotter, Ian Cruthirds, Luke Brim, Carter Brim.
