Obituary for Christine Easterling
Christine Easterling, 80 of Fairfield, passed on Saturday, August 19,2023 with her family by her side.

Burial:2pm, Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Evans Chapel Cemetery, Leona, Texas
Christine Easterling was born on December 16, 1942, in the Teague hospital but grew up in Fairfield, Texas. She was the daughter of Mac and Ada Baker. "Tene", as she was affectionately called, attended Fairfield Schools, graduating in 1961. She was married to Bill Boyd Easterling on June 30, 1962, and they lived most of their lives in Fairfield. She retired from Fairfield ISD in 2002 where she had served as bookkeeper for 27 years. Christine was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where over the years she enjoyed teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and working in the nursery. All who knew her can testify that she was an excellent cook and seamstress. All her family experienced her competitive game playing. She loved her grandkids and spending time with them.
Christine was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Boyd Easterling; parents, Mac and Ada Baker, and a niece, Tracy Schneider.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Easterling and wife, Gena, of Nacogdoches, and James Easterling and wife, Jennifer, of Lindale; one grandson, Joshua Easterling and wife, Elizabeth, of Harleton; five granddaughters, Erica Casaretto and husband, Giovanni, of Staten Island, New York, Brittany Dabo and husband, Cody, of Forney, Kathleen Gardin and husband, Nick, of Chicago, Illinois, Lauren Paulsen and husband, Alex, of Cranfills Gap, Lindsay Sumner and husband, Reece, of Canton; great granddaughters, Jasmine, Jade, Jordan, Aubree, Ava, Olivia, Piper, Kimber and Adaline; great grandsons, Christopher and Braddock, and two sisters, Ludy Talley of Fairfield and Mackie Bonner and husband, Wayne, of Lorena, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Joshua Easterling, Nick Gardin, Giovanni Casaretto, Cody Dabo, Reece Sumner, Christopher Casaretto, Wayne Bonner, Philip Talley.
In lieu of flowers, contributions should be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
