Obituary for Conrad Paul Engelholm

Conrad Paul Engelholm, 76, of Streetman, TX died Saturday, November 3, 2018 at his residence. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 10, 2018 at New Hope Baptist Church near Streetman with Pastor Chris Marsh officiating.
Mr. Engelholm, a retired cotton gin manager was born February 28, 1942 in Rosebud, Texas to parents Arthur and Katherine Kasner Engelholm. He married Lynnette Welch on November 1, 1968 at Salem Lutheran Church in Rosebud. He had been a resident of Freestone County since 2006 having relocated from Rosebud. Mr. Engelholm loved fishing and hunting but his real passion was gardening. He also played a big part in the maintenance and upkeep of St. Elmo Cemetery next to New Hope Baptist Church where he was a member. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Lee Engelholm and Vernon Engelholm.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife Lynnette; four children, Rodney Engelholm and wife Bety of Vernal, UT; Beth Rodarte and husband Beto of McKinney, TX; Paul Engelholm and wife Colette of Louisburg, NC; Todd Engelholm and wife Sophia of Rosebud, TX; seven grandchildren, Julian, Jarred, Ariela, Derek, Keaton, Daniela and Kassie; one great-grandchild, Eliana; and Wesson who is on the way.
