The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Daphne Fryer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Daphne Fryer

Daphne  Fryer
Daphne was born January 4, 1962 in Fairfield to Don and Francis Stone Carroll.  She was a lifetime resident of Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1980.  She graduated from Navarro Community College in 1981 with a nursing degree.  Daphne married Hugh “Hubie” Fryer, Jr. on March 7, 1981 in Fairfield at Round Prairie Baptist Church.  Daphne was an avid golfer and loved decorating.  She was fond of all holidays but especially Christmas and birthdays.  She loved going to the beach, her swimming pool, working in her garden and shopping at Round Top and Fredericksburg.  She loved her dogs Tess and Macy, her grand-dogs Hud and Heidi but she especially loved her dachshund Frank.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Hugh “Hubie” Fryer, Jr.; one son, Jeff Fryer and fiancé Megan Fuchs of Fairfield; her parents, Don and Francis Carroll of Fairfield; a brother, Kevin Carroll of Fairfield; a sister, Kristi Carroll of Flower Mound, TX; a niece, Kacie Carroll of Fairfield; her mother-in-law, Mackie Fryer Goodman of Fairfield; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.   
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to New Leash on Life in care of Capps Memorial Chapel or any animal shelter.
