Obituary for Dorothy Hollis

Dorothy  Hollis
Dorothy Jane Hollis, 92, of Pasadena, TX and formerly of Fairfield, died Friday, July 13, 2018 in Houston.  
Mrs. Hollis, a retired public-school food service specialist was born August 4, 1925 in Pontotoc, OK to parents Henry Columbus and Annie Haley Moore.  Mrs. Moore had been a resident of Pasadena since 2012 moving from Fairfield where she lived from 1983 until moving to Pasadena.  She married J.D. Hollis on June 21, 1942 in Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on October 17, 1993.  In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a son, Gaylen “G.W.” Hollis on May 17, 2014.   
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Teresa Hollis Harson of South Houston, TX; daughter-in-law, Darlene Hollis of Marquez, TX; grandchildren, Randall Hollis and wife Chedette of Jewett, TX; John Hollis and wife Lyn of Colorado Springs, CO; Michael Harson and wife Tracy of Arvada, CO; great-grandchildren, Alex Baber, Miski Hollis, Kaleb Hollis, Jessie Hollis, Natalie Hollis, Randall Hollis, Jr., Jennifer Hollis, Michael Walker, Tiffany Walker, Jesse Walker; two great-great-granddaughters both named Madison; two nieces, Sherry Patterson and Heather Ables. CLICK ON SERVICE SCHEDULE TAB ABOVE
