Obituary for FREDDIE WAYNE PHIFER, JR.
Freddie Wayne Phifer, Jr. was born June 13, 1959 in Rockwall, Texas to parents Freddie Wayne Phifer Sr. and Mary Marie Sikes Phifer. He was a retired millwright. He had been a Freestone County resident since 2008. He loved hunting and spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Laphoon Phifer; his mother, Marie Ince and two sons, Chris and Greg Phillips.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Diane Latham; two sons, Scott Phillips and wife Renee of Weatherford, TX; Jonathan Phifer and wife Caroline of Fairfield; a sister, Debra Carlson of Fairfield; a brother, Michael Phifer of Quitman, TX; his father, Freddie W. Phifer, Sr. and wife Linda of Quitman, TX; fourteen grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; two nieces and one nephew.
