Glen Nichols, 84, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 in Temple. Glen was born November 21, 1934 in Westminster, Texas to parents Leo and Billie Trotter Nichols. He married his wife Carolyn on November 17, 1973 in Del Rio, Texas. Glen had been a resident of Fairfield for 35 years having moved from Henderson, Texas. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the V.F.W. He was retired from Big Brown. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Carolyn; four children, Laura Byron and husband Howard of Kilgore, TX; Larry Nichols of Fairfield; Sonny Earnest of Temple and Lisa Earnest of Temple. three grandchildren, Chance Ramsey, Cheyenne Fleming and Tara Earnest; two great-grandchildren Shalynn Ramsey and Aston Fleming; one sister, Ethelene Collins of Bells, TX.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
