Christine Jordan, 85, of Eustace, TX, died Saturday, January 11, 2020 at her residence. Mrs. Jordan was born February 25, 1934 in Dallas to parents Athen Dewey Burton and Alta Christine Daniel Burton. Christine and her husband Jack came to Fairfield in the late 1970’s from Dallas. Her husband Jack preceded her in death in 2002. Christine had been living in Eustace for the last four years during declining health. She was a longtime member of the VFW Auxiliary in Fairfield and was very active in bingo at the VFW. She was known for her tremendous baking skills, fun loving high energy, her smiles and willingness to give the shirt off of her back. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one brother and six sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are three sons, Monty Ray Jordan of Austin; Ronnie Lee Jordan and wife Priscilla of Wills Point; Jere Lynn Jordan of Dallas; four grandchildren, Chelsea Marie Jordan, Jason Scott Jordan, Jere Bedford Jordan and Christine Jordan.
