Obituary for Lynda Grounds

Lynda Sue Grounds, 70, of Fairfield, died Monday, December 31, 2018 in Waco.
Lynda was born January 27, 1948 in Elkhart, Texas to parents Osce and Lynn Jones Grounds. She was a longtime Fairfield resident and graduate of Fairfield High School. She was a retired medical records director. Lynda enjoyed cooking, reading and knitting. She was an avid supporter of the Fairfield High School Band Boosters. She was well known for her love of college football; especially Virginia Tech. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Myrtle Stewart and a brother, Hillary Grounds.
Left to cherish her memory is a son, Morgan Grounds of Prosper, TX; a brother Peter Grounds of San Antonio, TX; numerous nieces and nephews.
