Michael William Alberts, 64, of the Butler community died Friday, August 2, 2019 in Tyler. Memorial services will be at a later date. Michael was born April 26, 1955 in Compton, California. He had been a property owner in Freestone County since 2004 moving here in 2010 from Bandera, Texas. He was a general contractor and a Baptist by faith. He and his wife Sandra were married on June 24, 2000. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Alyssa Dollgener.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife Sandra; three children, Cary Dollgener of Daingerfield, TX; Amy Sweeden and husband Phil of Scroggins, TX; William Carl Dollgener and wife Tysha of Forney, TX; four sisters, Debra Witherall of Colorado Springs, CO; Stephanie Castor of Canyon Lake, TX; Valeria Alberts of British Columbia, Canada; Melody Alberts of Shurtz, TX; seven grandchildren, Amanda Dollgener; Delores Dollgener, Mason Sweeden, Marshall Sweeden; Justin Dollgener; Kayla McDonald; Joshua Dollgener; numerous nieces and nephews.
