Severiano  Rodriguez (Junior)
On Thursday, August 30, 2018 Severiano (Junior) Rodriguez went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 59.  
Junior was born and raised in Luling, Texas and graduated from Luling High School in 1979. He married the love of his life, Deborah, in October of 1984. They spent the first several years of their marriage living in Luling, Caldwell and LaGrange. They moved to Fairfield in 1997 and started their life as a family with the addition of their son, Matthew, in 1998. Junior was a man of God and a member of First Baptist Church of Fairfield, an active supporter of the county fair and the youth of Freestone County, and a long-time employee of Boral Material Technology. Junior enjoyed spending time with family, hunting, and building a family ranching business with his son, Matthew.
Junior is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Kaye New; his father, Severiano Rodriguez, Sr.; siblings, Bertha Rodriguez, Eliazar Rodriguez, and Mario Rodriguez; mother-in-law, Shirley New; and special grandparents, Wallace and Loys Shelton.
He will be lovingly remembered by his son and pride and joy, Matthew Rodriguez; mother, Isidra Rodriguez; three sisters, Nohemi Rodriguez, Josefa Rodriguez, and Cecilia McCloyn and husband Namin McCloyn; nieces, Victoria, Crystal, Paige McCloyn; sister-in-love, Sharon New Fordyce and husband Tom Fordyce; niece and nephew, Lauren and Tyler Fordyce; father-in-law, Wayne New and wife, Linda; numerous cousins; the Frerking family; and special family friends, the Jimmie Harris family, Tracie Jones and family, Kristal Wood and Mike Hollingsworth and family.
