Shirley L. DeBorde, 73, of Liberty Hill, TX, a loving wife and mother, daughter, sister, aunt and ever friend has gone home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 19, 2019 at her residence.
Shirley was born December 29, 1945 in Chicago, Illinois to parents Ralph and Toini (Karppinen) Hansen. She worked as a CDL bus driver and lived a number of years in the Houston area as well as overseas. She was known for her love of cooking, gardening, fishing and traveling. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby DeBorde in 2004 and a brother, Daniel Hansen.
Left to cherish her memory are four children, Sharise Beck and husband Donald of Austin; Serena DeBorde and fiancé Bob Flemming of Liberty Hill, TX; Sonya DeBorde of San Antonio, TX; Steve DeBorde of Buchanan Dam, TX; nine grandchildren, Gordon, Shara, Jack, Shana, Steven, Samuel, Shelbie, Seth and Sean; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronald Hansen of Liberty Hill; two sisters, Carol Larson and husband Larry of Birnamwood, Wisconsin; Linda McGhee and husband John of Sanford, Florida.
