Obituary for VICKIE LYNN OGDEN

Vickie Lynn Ogden, 62, was born in Fairfield on December 23, 1957. Vickie served God by loving others until she left this world on Saturday, March 28, 2020 in Waco. Vickie grew up and graduated Waltrip High School in Houston, TX, and this is where she met most of her lifetime friends. Once she graduated, she moved back to Fairfield, where she was married and had two daughters. During this time in her life she made jeans in a factory in Palestine, she owned and operated a bakery with her sister and mother-in-law, she then helped run the kitchen at Trinity Valley Medical Center, she also worked AD SEG at Beto II and lastly retired from Love's.
She continued to make lifelong friends at each and every place she went. She loved her family and enjoyed baking and crafting with friends. She also loved her church family and helped do crafts each year at VBS. Vickie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Fairfield.
It is God's love shown through her that had so many loving her in return. She will be truly missed by many, but we are all blessed for having her in our lives. Vickie was preceded in death by her husband Dennis on March 27, 2006; her father, Darrell R. Moore and a brother, Larry D. Moore.

Worth; her beloved life partner, Hank Roper of Fairfield; her mother, Mary Hix Torres of Fairfield; two brothers, Randy Moore and wife Joy of Fairfield; Rob Moore and wife Becky of Burleson; two sisters, Becky Hullum and husband Jason of Teague; Tobi Guerrero and husband Luis of Teague and an honorary daughter, Jennifer Childs of Dallas.
