Waymon Thomas (W.T.) Adams, 81, a resident of Houston, Texas, passed away February 1, 2022 in Fairfield. W.T. was born August 12, 1940 in Shelbyville, Texas to parents, Willie Olan and Evie Cecil Hite Adams. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School in Houston. He served in the U.S. Army and became a City of Houston firefighter in 1964 and retired after 25 years of service. His interests were cars and motorcycles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheri Renee Adams; two sisters, Brenda Kay Adams and Kellie Michelle Adams.
Left to cherish his memory is a son, Michael Waymon Adams and wife Christi of Fairfield; two grandchildren, Erin Kennedy Adams of Tyler, TX; William Michael Adams of Plano, TX; one great-grandchild, River Dawson Donahue of Tyler, TX; two sisters, Eva Nell Doxey of Henderson, TX; Mary Ann Harrington of Center, TX; a brother, Kenneth Darryl Adams of Center, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Adams Cemetery in Center, Texas
